A cooperative built around its members
The Joint Medical Store Cooperative Society (JCOS) is the cooperative body representing employees and stakeholders of Joint Medical Store (JMS), Uganda's leading not-for-profit health supply chain organisation.
JCOS exists to provide its members with financial services and welfare support — including savings mobilisation, loan administration, share investment, and group medical insurance.
Historically, member interactions have been largely manual, with enquiries about loan balances, savings positions and insurance utilisation handled in person or through paper-based channels. This Member Self-Service Portal is the cooperative's primary digital interface — enabling members to self-serve on key financial and welfare functions from any device with internet access.
